Yeeeup!! I've had it block my own programs that I compiled on my own machine... It just hates everything. False positives everywhere!

I had similar today too, an old Microsoft executable from 2008 (admittedly that I had tweaked, but not recently), quarantined by Defender for supposedly containing ransomware.
