Some really awesome things this enables: For ad-hoc exploration, just rough out the SQL and then use VisiData to figure out what you actually want. If you need to, _then_ go back to the SQL to implement your adjustments. It becomes a tool for helping you think!

Save the results in a variety of formats super quickly instead of fumbling with \pset format csv (or worse, \a) and \o.

Load up data from outside the database to join with the results for more context. No need to bother with importing such data into temp tables so you can do the join in the database.
