Today commemorates 6 years of my daily runs. I have only one rule: 2 miles minimum. So far I ran 2,192 consecutive days at a total distance of 9,754 miles (4.4 miles on average). I can't believe how far I took this single month challenge.

If that’s true then they don’t understand email. Voicemail is forced drop from synchronous comm to asynchronous. Email is asynchronous by default and has no transitions to synchronous comms. It’s also one of the most resilient and versatile bidirectional protocols.
what voicemail was for millennials, email is now to gen z

Most first time founders are petrified to touch their top performers. This is exacerbated by the 10x bullshit peddled by VCs. Everyone is replaceable. Toxic people will take you down. You are better off with staff of mediocre performers that can work well with each other.
Don’t put up with complete bullshit from your star performer. Nobody is too valuable or hard to replace if they create a cancerous culture. Go nuclear when you see this stuff happening. Better to hire the right people and take time and slow down instead.

For those wondering... many Walgreens have put anything valuable behind a lock because there has been so much rampant theft from shoplifters with no consequences. Here’s a video I took at the one closest to me. They got rid of most cosmetics altogether.

Yes, we need evidence-based policy. But we also need policy-based evidence! Without experimentation on policies, we cannot realistically answer what their effects are. But a corollary: don't get ideologically attached to a policy, and be willing to move with evidence! 14/14

Hey @exercism_io, what about a @ziglang track? I'd be happy to lend a hand to make that happen.

This was so blatantly obvious and called out by so many way before election day, that I can’t believe it worked out even this much.
“Trump was focused on the so-called red mirage. This was the idea that early vote counts would look better for Republicans ... Trump intended to weaponize it for his vast base of followers. His preparations were deliberate, strategic and deeply cynical.” axios.com/trump-election-pre…
