I've created an extended, annotated version of my talk on Personal Data Warehouses, including screenshots, links and code examples

This is bloody brilliant - Norm assembled a five minute version of the Wellerman TikTok sea shanty videos showing how the collaboration evolved over time
So I grabbed the stack of videos to compare them. The easiest way was to put them into Davinci Resolve (since I live in that now). And inevitably this happened… invidious.snopyta.org/TjVDmMI4sbk
I don't care if you're sick of that shanty (though how could you be?) - this video is amazing. You can fast forward to half way through if you've already seen enough of the most common version
My @talkpython episode with @mkennedy is out!
We cover the early history of Django, how Datasette came about, the evolution of my Dogsheep collection of tools and a whole lot more
I'm really happy with this - I think it's my best podcast recording yet

OBS tip: I keep recording videos where I forget where the webcam video box will be on the screen, then accidentally run terminal commands or similar with the output obscured by my face
Solution: use macOS stickies to mark the spot where my face will appear!
I'd love to hear more about the impact Nemawashi has on Japanese business culture - sounds like it could be a classic example of how having a word for something makes it much more likely to be discussed and implemented (see design patterns)
