I'm working on a terminal game right now as part of Games Week at the @recursecenter. Are any old-school ASCII/ANSI artists interested in playing with Unicode and 256 colors for a modern "Unicode art" effect? We need a few landscapes/backgrounds, happy to pay in karma and warez.

The Pudding used the xd crossword corpus for an in-depth analysis of gender and racial representation in crossword puzzles in top publications over time. Exactly the kind of research I was hoping future scholars might undertake. Great work, @michmac202.
Crossword puzzles have been criticized for being too old, too white, too male... and rightfully so. @michmac202 looked at the NYTimes + 4 other publications to see how often women and people from minoritized racial groups are represented in the squares.
