❤️ data caring not just sharing ❤️ anthros need to prioritize trust with the people we work with in how we manage our data.
My dept spends a lot of time promoting data sharing. But we work with human data. So as much time thinking about data restrictions. Here's a short doc I wrote in January this year, a starting place for project solutions that are FAIR but also CARE. gist.github.com/rmcelreath/5…

New preprint. If you don't have time to read it, please glance at these figures and never test for an interaction by running a linear model without graphing the data again. Very happy with our triple triptych homage to Anscombe's quartet :-)
New preprint! @rubenarslan and I discuss issues with interactions that can lead to replicable but wrong answers: scale dependence, correlations vs slopes, and effect modification vs causal interaction. psyarxiv.com/7fm2j/

India’s workforce is largely agrarian, so these new bills have a far-reaching affect on millions. Farmers are credited with pulling India out of food insecurity & form the political & cultural backbone of our country. This is the largest protest in recent history. #JaiKisaan

I’m tired of narratives that women in STEM need to be more confident, speak up more, be better negotiators, be more like men. We would be better off if men questioned themselves more, spoke up less, and advocated for those with less power. pnas.org/content/early/2020/…
