My fav thing is the amazing group of people that LLVM has brought together. We've built a community that drives innovative tech together, despite being employed by harsh commercial competitors. Simultaneously pushing the envelope while powering critical products isn't easy! 🐲

I started being pulled into LLVM by wanting to run @JuliaLanguage on GPUs! It has been an amazing journey alongside @maleadt. The best thing about LLVM is the melting pot it has been and that allows us to go multi-vendor! So thanks to the LLVM community! #CelebrateLLVM

Part-time nerdy language designer and software engineer: I started using LLVM for the "not so interesting to me, but extremely important" backend, and these days it's almost everywhere: gc, jit, clang, lldb, lld, ... seriously guys staaahp, I'll have nothing fun left to work on.

We built several research tools on top of it. Profile guided profiling in #pira does instrumentation with LLVM. Memory allocation tracking for type correctness with TypeART and the MPI assertion checker mach use LLVM. All available at github.com/tudasc
