2020 was a turbulent year for a lot of social impact businesses. So I feel even more grateful that my company, Diverse In Tech, was able to raise the voices of 382 participants in 33 countries in 5 technology communities in 2020. That was up 120% from 2019! [Thread]

We were able to do this thanks to the support of big companies in the open source tech space who recognize the value of this work, volunteers who promoted our workshops, and the willingness of people at home to learn new things.

2020 was a big year for learning at home, and a lot of individuals took advantage of the extra workshops that the big companies and I were partnering to offer.

Love this interview my good friend @allie_nimmons from @thewpbuffs did with me. It's a great way to get to know the specific #diversity work I've been doing in #WordPress and how 2020 changed things....
We are proud to support, encourage, and uplift members of the #WordPress community who are doing consistently good work. Community Manager @allie_nimmons sat down with @jillbinder to learn about her #WPDiversity journey and goals. wpbuffs.com/an-interview-wit…
