Every #MLKDay, when you are quoting "I had a dream," remember how they treated #MLK for his dream. When telling "Dr. King was successful because he was peaceful," stories, remember that he suffered dearly for the racial justice advances he achieved. nitter.net/i/events/1011395…

Never thought I'd see the day when an eng on my team would do #AdventofCode in a programming language that he and the rest of his team created
@olsenator4 is a big fan of #AdventOfCode and used it to stress test the oso programming language, Polar! Our latest blog post covers what he learned using the programming puzzles to dig deeper into Polar and all it can do. Thanks to @ericwastl! osohq.com/post/advent-of-cod…

"Given the choice b/w appealing policies + a DARK character, and objectionable policies + a RESPECTABLE character it's always safer to pick the latter" Sounds like Hamilton. And he's right.
MUST READ by @sequoia Mike Moritz diplomatic in disdain for those (his own partner) who ‘provided support to forces of darkness’ ‘Given the choice b/w appealing policies + a DARK character + objectionable policies + a RESPECTABLE character its always safer to pick the latter’

Most roles systems are too rigid. ABAC as a concept has always felt so broad in hat it’s useless (like where at first I thought, is that really what it means?) So we wrote a guide to provide a structured mental model for developers building authorization in their apps
RBAC + ABAC get thrown around a lot. Many devs think it's an "either/or" between the two, but both can be used together. Get a mental model for building access control, a review of common RBAC + ABAC patterns, and how to use them together in our new post: osohq.com/post/role-based-ac…

Genuinely curious if anyone finds the various access control acronyms useful? Some guides even bring up DAC, MAC, and PBAC too... We're hoping this guide clarifies what these mean for you as a developer _practically_.
