Maybe! I actually played a Rhodes + keyboards in a (amateur) band when I was a teenager. Have never played again since then, but I am flirting with the idea of selling the sax and switching to a digital piano.

Don't sell the sax! Play both 😉 I love the Rhodes sound, I was looking at the second hand market but they are too expensive.

Have several issues with the sax: – It's in Eb and I have ear in C, it's crazy. – It's loud to play at home. – If you do not play, you loose embouchure and sound. I enjoyed a few years, but feel I have to switch to something else. A modern digital piano checks many marks.

Ey, why don't you try the Akai Ewi? It's like a midi sax, it uses the sax fingering layout, is a C instrument and you can play it with headphones. It will be easy to you due to your sax knowledge! Listen! invidious.snopyta.org/90GDV4Y9q1A

Hey man! ❤️ Researched extensively electronic wind instruments before. They were my first option. AKAI, Roland, Sylphyo, .... Indeed, Roland just released a new one Aerophone. They can be configured in C, are small and portable, .... But I just don't feel like getting one.

I played keyboards a bit when I was a teenager. Had no formal piano education, and my left hand is NULL, but it's not going to be entirely new. I know I am going to have an amazing time with one of these modern devices. And maybe I can take classes and learn a bit of technique.
