Last year we announced the Expo servers would drop support for legacy TLS 1.0/1.1 and completed this upgrade around 11:45a PST today.

Most HTTP proxies shouldn't be affected by TLS 1.0/1.1. Unless something stopped working for you within the last hour, the forum post is unrelated to this TLS upgrade.
