capitalism doesn't breed innovation it exploits it
Knowing insulin’s creator sold the patent for $1 so everyone could have access to it really adds insult to injury. It’s HEINOUS. If this is Capitalism, it’s deadly.

I'm still on the fence on this. What I see is that yes capitalism doesn't breed innovation. And yes it does exploit it. However, without this the exploitation the supply chain for it once it was created might not have happened? Innovation needs industry for its distribution?

Don't get me wrong, there's no moral justification ever for the insulin price hike. I was talking in general terms.

I agree with you here. There are plenty of ways to solve supply chain issues in the absense of capitalism. But wanted to say, this video is a damn interesting take.
