Harris’ Senate resignation is now effective; exactly two days before she’s sworn in as Vice President.
Kamala Harris will resign her Senate seat effective Monday. She won’t give a Senate goodbye speech like Biden did after ‘08 win, but then as the tie-breaking vote she isn’t totally leaving. Harris expected to speak at some inaugural events. politico.com/news/2021/01/17…
