A quarter of UK premises now have access to gigabit broadband, but this is unevenly distributed.
This cartogram shows which small areas of England and Wales already have gigabit broadband availability. Each hexagon⬢ represents an MSOA with a population of around 7k-10k.

Note that this data is from June 2020 while the coverage data is from September 2020.

Yes - was looking at adding upload speeds too. They are much lower on average, but they also vary a lot less between MSOAs, with the vast majority between 10 and 14 Mbps. I expect there's more variation in the finer-grained output area and postcode data.
