I'm looking for an alternative to host ziglang.org than Amazon CloudFront - the latencies are 8x slower than for example GitHub Pages. Any suggestions? We need to also host a lot of large (immutable) .tar.xz files for releases and CI runs.

For example check the latency of the assets downloaded from raw.githubusercontent.com vs ziglang.org (cloudfront)

Thanks for the replies, I think the next step here is to try Fastly

I've heard good things about Fastly, but never tried it. Perhaps there are some tweaks you could make to your Cloudfront distribution? Like a different price class or replication settings. Also, may be worth testing from multiple locations if you haven't already.

May I suggest @BunnyCDN ? It's way cheaper than cloudfront or fastly, and their volume plan is really fast for big files delivery Been using it for couple of years now
