The "Everything is an X" pattern is the foundation of lots of small-but-surprisingly-powerful systems. @spookylukey discusses several of them (including @VisiData). Others I can think of:
- APL (everything is an array)
- LISP (everything is a list)
- Unix (everything is a file)
How long did you expect a SQL Unloader for @OracleDatabase? I know some people having long stories about that. Finally here thanks to @oraclesqlcl
If you still use sqlplus, there's also a "set markup csv"
And if you want to look at it in your tty there's @VisiData
Happy 4th birthday to @VisiData ! It's the best data processing tool in my toolbox. Thank you @saulfp and all the contributors for all your work on this amazing software!

Yesterday I discovered the penultimate tool for data moles.
It can view and browse pretty much any file or database that you can throw at it, allowing you to navigate it on the terminal - at terminal speeds.
Addiction warning. It's called VisiData.
