Here kids we have a perfect example of why using percentages without the data you used to create the data creates the Base-Rate Fallacy. Right wing pundits like @allisonpearson and @toadmeister use it to spread disinformation and then claims covid19 isn’t bad.

Lesson available to all in software development, testing, and life during COVID: risk is not reduced by people’s inept assessment of risk. Rusk isn’t even reduced by excellent assessment of risk. Risk is reduced by people acting prudently to deal with risk.

It kind of reminded me of an actual family gathering w\Cypress as the crazy uncle everyone has, Playwright being that odd teenager, Appium just happy to have been invited,& Selenium as the family patriarch whose only thought is “What’s WRONG with these people??” LOL

Very true. Engineering a simple solution takes time and careful thought. I like to say that the code should read like a short story by CS Lewis, and it should look like any other code from that language. Getting to that point can be incredibly challenging.
keeping it stupid simple ain't easy 😚 kiss don't mean easy for you to write, or takes you 2 secs, to write 😚 kiss means make it clear enough for others to read, taking however long that takes

1) The HUSTEF Conference was the occasion for the first viewing of a video keynote that I prepared: "What's Wrong with Manual Testing". Quite a bit, as it turns out—but we can address the problems. There will be more to come on the subject, but for now: invidious.snopyta.org/DBzz04M01r8
