Honestly, I'm proud of this change. It doesn't fix a bug that I'm aware of. It's an oversight in a series of commits that undid parts of each other over a long period of time.
I meant in the sense that "if you raise the minimum wage, things will cost more." I'm happy to pay more for stuff. But surely, it'll be worthwhile for all of us to raise the minimum wage. :)
People who complain about raising the minimum wage: "I demand others do 'essential work' that I don't want to, but I demand they barely get paid for it so I save a few more bucks I don't need."

I work with people from over 50 countries. None (*zero*) ever felt uncomfortable in the slightest when I asked them "how is your name pronounced?" It's just minimal courtesy to properly pronounce a name.
