no , compiler are slaves to our huge piles of nonsense junk, all they want is for us to go back to writing in assembler so we aren't inclined to write code that inherits hoards of cyclic, conflicting junk source that forces them to make unstable bloatware.

When I'm coding in C I don't code in C, I code in assembler, I just express my assembler in C. I turn a bit of a blind eye to floating point math tho, cause I'm not sadistic.

main one is that access to floating point should require a license and a test. fail the test and you can't use floats until you go to floating point school. even then, you still have to pass the test.

they can use all the fixed point they want though! :) it's mostly a shitpost but i do think people should avoid floats unless they truly understand them.
